Writing backlogs again! And if you’ve noticed, I’m so happy on how my Instagram have grown after a mini collaboration I had with Ruben of Gamintraveler. So recently my social media feed is full of FOOD! And I think I’m going to stick to that for some time until I find something sensible to write other than nonsensical rants. At last, after months and months of waiting, I finally had the chance to visit Salt Kite Beach.
Location
#FindingSalt – or Salt as predominantly known is located in Kite beach in Jumeirah, nestled right in front of the beach. Pretty sure the only transport available to reach is through cab.
Decors
I was literally curious about the shop because of how well conceptualized everything is in Salt Kite Beach! Honestly fascinated with the simple and clean approach of its design. It’s basically a food truck junction along the beach area. The main food truck is where you chiefly take your orders and the other one is Grind-their in-house coffee shop. They have a closed out air-conditioned spot for those who despise the heat and an outdoor dining option which I deem perfect for a much more bearable weather none other than winter!
Food and Drinks
Salt offerings are nonetheless very simple. Burger, fries, lemonades, shakes and soda. That’s it! No struggle of flipping pages of a menu book. We ordered two different sliders which is Hook and Chicken Cheetos. An order will consist of two mini burgers and again, not a burger fan here but Salt Kite Beach made me finish two sliders! There’s nothing awesome to how these burgers really taste but I just love the bun so much! In fact, I think the bun is the super hero of their burger. This is the first ever burger bun that I can chew forever-hypothetically speaking!
For drinks, I tried lemonade which taste so good and refreshing, especially we’re stationed at the beach. I also have tried Grind coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee that I tried was just too sweet! I had the pretzels coffee thingy? I forgot the name of it, but it was a cold iced-chocolate drink with pretzels on top. Just super sweet! The sugar syrup and the chocolate combination might have overpowered the everything in that drink, although it’s really IG worth sharing!
Service
Oh, well everyone was very accommodating and approachable. But this is a self-service restaurant so there’s very little service aspect involved. However, just in some cases that you might need assistance of anything, staff are very much willing to assist.
What to try?
Since their menu is very limited I would suggest you try all their burgers J (there’s only three so no fuss) and for drinks I’ll probably suggest the lemonade over the coffee pretzels one.
